My Story

The first time I can ever remember singing in front of people… was actually at football camp. I was 5 and each lunchtime we had a talent show, so I got up and sang Linkin Park’s “In The End”. The coaches crowned me performer of the week and my prize was a box of chocolate fingers, I guess that’s where my love for performing began (my love for chocolate fingers was already well established by this point)!

From there I went to school where from the ages of 7 to 18 I was involved in numerous choirs, musicals and various other solo singing opportunities.

Probably the most notable of these was on my 16th birthday, when I sang a rendition of “Feeling Good” to a sold out Royal Albert Hall. This was where my love of crooning and jazz began.

Also worth mentioning was the time I spent singing with the Wellingtones, an a cappella group with whom I won the junior ICCAs.

From there I went on to university where I joined Out Of The Blue, another a cappella group with whom I sung for 3 years, during which time we toured India, both coasts of the US and did 3 month-long runs at the Edinburgh fringe festival where we were the highest grossing non-professional act at the fringe for all three years! (The group is still going and I highly recommend you check them out!)

From there I moved on to Garfunkle, a funk band with whom I sang for a year, playing mostly college balls and dance functions, this is where I rediscovered my love for playing with a band and getting a crowd up and dancing!

Sadly then the lockdowns hit and live music stopped for a while. This is when I began writing my own music and I have several projects that are soon to be released after many years in the making!

But since live music has been back I have been playing events with Aftersun, playing my guitar in pubs and bars, and loving every minute of it! I want to spend as much time as possible singing for people, so here I am, offering you various ways to see me perform, all you have to do is pick your favourite!
